Spring Reminder
As we move into spring, we would like to remind families of a few key expectations that help our school day run smoothly.
Grades 7–9: Students are responsible for bringing and maintaining their own school supplies.
Grades 5–6: Supplies continue to be provided through the student supply fee.
Lockers: Students should access lockers only at the start of the day, nutrition break, and lunch. Also, a CBE lock must be used on lockers, kept locked at all times, and combinations should not be shared.
Attendance: Students must check in or out through the main office if arriving late or leaving early. Regular, full‑day attendance supports learning, well‑being, and belonging.

Matilda Tickets on Sale!
Tickets for Matilda are now on sale! We have changed our ticket platform this year to TipToe Tickets instead of Eventbrite.
Our evening performance dates are:

- May 1 - 7pm
- May 2 - 7pm

School Council Update
Growing Smiles Spring Plant Fundraiser
You can order beautiful planters, hanging baskets, flowers and herbs for spring planting and more, all while supporting the school. Orders can be placed here before April 26th. Pick up will be on May 11th.

The next hybrid meeting will be held April 16 at 7:00pm. Please note the time change to 7:00 as this is to accommodate the Grade 6 Camping Trip Parent Meeting. Volunteers needed for Society & School Council!
Elections for the 2026-2027 school year will take place at the AGM in May.
We need the help of our parent community, to ensure the success of our students and school initiatives. Together we support the kids and staff at West Ridge School by building community, supporting learning, and adding as much fun as we can.
