Dear Families,

Welcome back to our Raptor Family!  We hope that many of you had a fantastic break and were able to enjoy the time with friends and family.

We have had a cold start to our new year, and hope that many families are staying warm!  That has not stopped our volleyball tryouts from running so a bit thank you to those parents and students who are helping in that process.

Child and Youth Well-Being: A Webinar Series for Parents and Guardians 

Teen brains are amazing, but working with brains under construction comes with challenges. How do you nurture and appreciate this time? Adolescence is known across cultures as a tough time for both teens and adults who support them.  Adults and teens can work together to form a deeper understanding of what is happening in the brain creating a deeper understanding of one another.

We hope everyone had a wonderful winter break!  Just a couple items this week:

 

Council meeting

Our next council meeting will be on Jan 24th at 9:30 am in the Learning Commons.  The agenda will be posted next week.

 

Volunteers for audit

I am in need of 2 people to do the society’s financial audit.  Bonus points if you’re an accountant!  This process takes roughly 1-1.5 hours and can be done any time of day (date and time TBD once I have volunteers).  If you’re able to help out, please email infowrss@gmail.com
