Next week we will be supporting the Bell Let’s Talk Campaign and on Wednesday, January 24^th we will be encouraging students to wear hats.  If you would like to donate, please feel free to send a Loonie or Twonie with your child to give to their homeroom teacher.

Student Leadership Update

With Bell Let’s Talk Day coming up next week, Leadership students are hoping to have Hats on for Mental Health Day on Wednesday, January 24^th to raise awareness!  If your child would like to participate in this day by wearing a hat or donating to Mental Health, please send them with a  Loonie or Toonie next week!

 

Child and Youth Well-Being: A Webinar Series for Parents and Guardians 

Metal Health & Anxiety (Grade K-6) - February 8^th 6:30-8:00pm

Learn how to support elementary-aged children with stress and anxiety. Our partners from AHS will clarify the language around mental health and provide effective coaching strategies to help children grow more resilient. You'll also learn about the signs that indicate the need for professional assessment and support, as well as how to boost your own mental health.  Meeting Link HERE.

Team Fund

We have a new fundraiser that's just started!  You can order a variety of meats from Bow River Meats or delicious pizza and more from Coco Brooks.  Here’s the link to order: https://westridgeschool.myteamfund.ca 

Ordering is open until February 12th.

Pick up will be at the school on February 21st from 3-5pm and then at a parent’s house from 6-8pm
