Updates this coming week for families are:
PE Weekly Update
Congratulations to our Sr. Boys basketball team for capturing the divisional championship last night. With that win they have earned a berth into the inaugural Tournament of Champions that is happening next week. Best of luck! We know you’ll make West Ridge proud. Our Jr. Boys and Sr. Girls teams both had hard fought games last night as well, but unfortunately came up just short. Congrats on terrific seasons all around.
Wrestling practice has been canceled today due to Parent Teacher Conferences taking place in the school. Practices will resume next week on Tuesday, November 28 after school. The wrestling team will be competing in their first tournament, the Maverick Melee at William D. Pratt School, from Nov. 30-Dec. 1. Best of luck to all wrestlers who are competing in this tournament.
The Grade 6 field trip forms (ski trip and snowshoeing/hiking trip) went home last week. The deadline to have forms returned is today (November 23). Please ensure your child’s forms have been signed and returned by end of day today. Both trips are happening on December 7.

Teen brains are amazing, but working with brains under construction comes with challenges. How do you nurture and appreciate this time? Adolescence is known across cultures as a tough time for both teens and adults who support them. Adults and teens can work together to form a deeper understanding of what is happening in the brain creating a deeper understanding of one another.
